The shortlist for Cruise Stars 2024 has been revealed following one of the highest number of entries in recent years

The free-to-enter event, which celebrates individual talent from across the cruise industry, will be held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Central London on 13 December.

Categories this year include Cruise Line Sales Star, Mentoring Star and the coveted Star of the Year award, while roving travel agents will also be celebrated with two regional gongs.

Last year’s winner of the Above and Beyond Star, GoCruise & Travel’s Daniel Hammond, said it was an amazing feeling to have his hard work recognised.

“It makes everything I, and the team, have done this year worth it,” he said. “These awards are massive for the industry. Agents are unsung – they don’t get a lot of recognition, the cruise lines get more at times, which they should, but agents, we don’t really, we are the little people at times so events like these make us big and more known to the industry.”
