Royal Caribbean is moving at pace when it comes to bolstering its travel agent training materials and general support, as director of sales UK, Ireland and Spain Stuart Byron tells Lucy Abbott in this Cruise Corner interview.
The launch of a new ship is always exciting, yet the arrival of Wonder of the Seas earlier this year was one of the industry’s most hotly anticipated for quite some time.
As the holder of the title of the biggest cruise ship in the world, unsurprisingly the vessel has generated plenty of headlines, and the reaction to date is overwhelmingly positive, as Byron explains.
Since then, Royal Caribbean has begun work to improve its support for travel agents, including with trade ship visits.
The latest element of its trade project is the introduction of a refreshed training programme – accessible through its Club Royal Plus app and the Club Royal website – as well as a greater focus on homeworkers.
