Aroya Cruises has unveiled a new campaign starring world-renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner and model Georgina Rodríguez
The digital campaign was launched on the couples’ respective Instagram channels on 10 April, following a series of teasers.
In the film, the Al-Nassr footballer can be seen at home with Rodríguez as they plan their holiday, before their home transforms into an Aroya ship, complete with sun lounger, branded kitchenware and balcony.
Ronaldo shows off his football skills and the couple conclude the campaign by heading out to their cabin balcony and saying “Yalla,” an Arabic word meaning “let’s go” and the Aroya Cruises’ brand tagline.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus footballer said: “Georgina and I are happy to feature in this campaign together and can’t wait to take our family on a cruise. We enjoy the Saudi lifestyle, and Aroya Cruises is intrinsically Arabian, from its design to its cuisine.”
Turky Kari, executive director of marketing at Aroya Cruises, added: “Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez align with our brand vision and working with the couple has been an immensely exciting step in our journey.
“Aroya Cruises will begin sailing around the Mediterranean in June and we look forward to welcoming guests from Saudi, Europe and beyond to experience Arabian authenticity at sea.”
Launched in December 2024, Aroya Cruises is the first Arabian cruise line. Its first and only ship in the fleet, Aroya, features 1,678 cabins, two swimming pools and 29 dining venues as well as a theatre, beauty salon and spa with salt and snow rooms.
Aroya offers a range of three, four and seven-night sailings in the Red Sea to destinations in Egypt, Jordan and a private island in the Red Sea, Jabal AlSabaya, home to the Saba Beach club.
