Celestyal Cruises will extend its cruise programme in Turkey – which launched in 2015 – for another two years with itineraries embarking from Istanbul, Izmir and Kusadasi.
Meanwhile, the company has announced a new ship, the Celestyal Nefeli (ex Gemini) to replace the Celestyal Odyssey.
The Celestyal Nefeli is able to access smaller ports which is part of the strategy for the company to open new destinations in Eastern Mediterranean cruising. Since 2014, the cruise line has added 15 new destinations which include Milos, Ios, Kos, Samos, Symi, Chios, Cesme and Syros.
Due to demand, it will also increase the number of themed events such as a cooking demonstration with a local chef, performances from Greek musicians and dancers or a talk from an archeologist.
