Celebrity Cruises has launched a 13-night cruise-and-stay holiday in the Galapagos for passengers who want to experience more of the islands.

Offered from March 2017 on Celebrity Xperience, one of two small vessels the cruise line recently acquired, it combines two nights in Quito, Ecuador, with a week’s cruise and three nights in a hotel in Puerto Ayora in Santa Cruz Island.

During days on land, passengers can visit a farm and meet fishermen with a chef from a local restaurant as he gathers produce for dinners ashore. From £9,635 per person including flights departing April 14 2017.

Celebrity Xperience holds 48 passengers, while Celebrity Xploration, which joins Celebrity in March 2017, has capacity for just 16 people. It will be sailing seven-night cruises around the islands.
