Carnival Panorama’s exterior completion has been welcomed with a traditional coin ceremony in Italy.
The event was attended by Carnival’s senior vice president of newbuilds, Benoit Clement, as well as Antonella Cazzin, from Fincantieri, who served as godmother for the ceremony.
The 133,500-tonne Carnival Panorama – the third in the line’s Vista-class alongside Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon – will make its debut on 11 December 2019 with a three-day voyage.
It will then begin year-round Mexican Riviera cruises on the 14 December next year.
Cruises will depart from the newly renovated Long Beach Cruise Terminal and feature stops at destinations such as Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
Carnival Panorama will feature a range of dining venues, as found on Vista and Horizon, as well as a WaterWorks aqua park and a range of accommodation options.
