Azamara bolstered its commitment to the UK trade during a Seminar at Sea event which saw thirty agents take part in three days of training and brand immersion on board Azamara Quest.
Agents joined the small ship specialist on its Cities of Western Med voyage, which embarked on 24 October in Livorno and disembarked on 27 October in Marseille.
During their time on board, trade partners had the opportunity to experience the brand’s product and service firsthand while learning about what is included with Azamara’s cruise fare, extended shoreside stays and product.
Head of trade sales UK and Ireland for Azamara Stuart Pearce said: “It’s been a fantastic few days and an absolute pleasure to welcome agents from all around the British Isles to sail with us.
“We know that firsthand experience, a thorough understanding of the product, and personal connections are all powerful sales tools, and we’re sure that following this event, our agent partners will feel more confident and better equipped than ever to sell Azamara.”
Seminar at Sea latest in string of trade commitments from Azamara
The group, which included representatives from some of Azamara’s largest accounts as well as independent agents, were hosted by members of Azamara’s UK sales team, including Pearce, strategic account sales manager Nikki Singleton and business development manager Adam Morris.
The Seminar at Sea is the latest in a series of trade commitments from Azamara, following a new trade loyalty platform which was launched earlier this year.
