Azamara has announced the appointment of Adam Morris as UK business development manager.
Morris joins Azamara from Royal Caribbean, where he developed a network of travel partner contacts in his roles as regional sales manager and key account manager.
In his new position, Morris will “invest more time with existing agent partners, encouraging deeper involvement with Azamara”, the line said in a statement, as well as connecting with smaller independent agencies and consortia members across the UK and Ireland.
Azamara’s UK team is led by head of trade sales Stuart Pearce. The line restructured its team in October 2022 to “bolster market growth and generate greater confidence among trade partners in the region”.
‘Exciting step’ for Azamara
Pearce said: “I am delighted to have someone of Adam’s talent and experience join the team.
“The appointment marks another exciting step in Azamara’s ambitions for the UK market, as we continue to grow with some of the finest talent in the industry.

“We have already enjoyed a very strong start to the year and with Adam’s experience and contacts that he’s developed over 11 years, and his proven track record of boosting sales, we’re confident that he will play a vital role in developing Azamara’s business performance in the UK.”
Morris added: “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Azamara, a cruise line that I have admired for many years for its unwavering commitment to immersive and meaningful travel experiences.
“As I start my new role, I look forward to helping drive forward Azamara’s growth plans in the UK market and seeing the company go from strength-to-strength globally.”
