Azamara opens new international HQ in Woking

Azamara UK HQ leadership team

Azamara Cruises has opened its new international headquarters in Woking, incorporating its UK/EMEA contact centre

Previously headquartered in Weybridge, the new office is now fully operational and will serve as the home for the line’s UK sales team, as well as several senior global leadership roles.

It will also house the line’s contact centre, bringing together a group of cruise sales and service specialists led by contact centre manager Jade Way, who recently joined Azamara from Royal Caribbean.

The company said the move will bring “sales and service closer together” for travel agents, giving the trade a more direct route to support and offering a smoother booking journey.

The integration of the UK/EMEA contact centre into the new HQ further strengthens Azamara’s support for complex bookings, including groups, reflecting growing demand from the trade.

Way will take on responsibility for the line’s groups business alongside her contact centre leadership duties. Supporting her in this area is Natasha Shipp, who takes on the newly created role of group sales and service agent, in a bid to help partners quote, convert and service group business more efficiently.

David Siewers, chief international sales officer at Azamara Cruises, said: “Our new international HQ in Woking underlines our continued investment in the UK and EMEA region, ensuring guests and agents have direct access to knowledgeable, local specialists who understand their markets and can deliver the high-touch service synonymous with the Azamara Cruises brand. A dedicated, locally based team means stronger sales and service alignment, faster resolutions and, ultimately, a business that’s easier to work with.”

Stuart Pearce, director of sales, Azamara Cruises, added: “This is a really exciting moment for the team. We’re based in the heart of the UK, but our reach spans EMEA and beyond, and with English, French and Spanish speakers already on hand, and German joining us soon, we’re well equipped to support guests and agents wherever they are.”
