Luxury river cruise operator APT is allowing travel agents and the travel industry to get a sneak peek of its brand new ships, by hosting a virtual tour this month.

The virtual tours will feature the line’s new Travelmarvel contemporary river ships, which are set to launch in spring 2021.

Open to agents and members of the travel trade, the new tours will be hosted by APT’s UK head of sales, Jessica Shelton-Agar, and aim to ‘inspire and delight’ as well as showing off the ships.

The tours will take viewers on a tour of the ships along with a virtual journey of Europe’s riverside towns and cities. The webinars will also coincide with the launch of the line’s new cruising brochure.

Discussing the webinars, Shelton-Agar explained: “This is a great opportunity for agents to join me and hear what APT has coming up next year and how they can sell these fantastic river cruises.

“I will share details about our unique experiences, brand new vessels and key customer information about our new APT Assurance which includes the Covid Flexible Booking Policy – it’s suitable for agents both new to river cruise or seasoned experts to come aboard and hear what APT has to offer.”

The webinar will go live on Thursday 24 September 2020 at 9.30a, and agents can register via this link.

Launching in spring 2021, Travelmarvel Polaris, Capella and Vega will house 91 cabins and feature a restaurant on the main deck and a vista lounge on the upper deck.

The ships will have floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, and the adjacent Alfresco Lounge will boast bi-folding windows opening out to the front verandah, allowing outdoor access. The ships will also have a McGeary’s Bar for casual dining and drinks.

Other amenities on board include a rooftop bar, terrace lounge and heated whirlpool.
