Ambassador Cruise Line unveils travel agent concession scheme

Ambassador Cruise Line, Ambience

Ambassador Cruise Line has launched its agent concession scheme for its 2022/2023 maiden season on Ambience.

The scheme will give agents the opportunity to experience the line’s first ship from £40pp, per night.

Agents are also eligible for a 15 per cent discount on any drinks package and a 25 per cent discount on port parking at Tilbury, London.

There is a maximum of one booking per staff member in one year, and the scheme is valid for cruises up to 15 nights.

All guests must be fully insured with Covid-19 cover and fully vaccinated, Ambassador confirmed.

Ambassador Cruise Line head of trade sales Lisa Jacobs said: “We believe that by allowing our valued trade partners, the chance to sail on board our flagship Ambience they will become as passionate as we are about the Ambassador brand and Ambience.

“We have been delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response to the launch of Ambassador, the first new British cruise line in a decade. But throughout it all, at our heart is one clear objective: to always prioritise our guests and trade partners.”

Speaking to Cruise Trade News in late 2021, Ambassador CEO Christian Verhounig said the line had been working hard on trade relationships and had an “easy-to-use online tool along with a dedicated trade partner section on the Ambassador website” available to agents.

The line has also partnered with ORCA to launch what it said is the “first cruise anti-whaling campaign”.

Ambassador will host two ORCA ocean conservationists on 11 sailings on Ambience in 2022 and 2023.
