Guildford, UK (Sept 1st, 2016) – AmaWaterways have today opened their new sales and marketing office located in Guildford, Surrey and announced their new team.

Stuart Perl, Managing Director of AmaWaterways said, “Today marks another milestone for the company as the newly formed sales and marketing office in the UK joins the AmaWaterways family! I am thrilled to be working alongside such a strong team of passionate individuals who are all as excited and enthusiastic about this new opportunity as I am.”

AmaWaterways will be working extremely closely with the travel trade over the coming months to developeven stronger relationships with our current trade partners as well as developing new partnerships to ensure that AmaWaterways continues to lead the way in this thriving sector.

Stuart Perl continued, “Trade partnerships are extremely important to AmaWaterways and are the life blood of our business. We will do our utmost to support our partners to ensure they have all the training and tools in place to understand and sell our product effectively.  Our sales team are looking forward to having face to face meetings with many of our agents and homeworkers to help develop a strong sales and marketing strategy for the coming months ahead.”

The new AmaWaterways team includes Hiedi Hutchinson, Head of Relationship Marketing & PR; Simon McDermott, National Accounts Manager and Amanda Elgie, Sales Manager North England, Scotland & Ireland all of whom transferred from their previous roles within the GSA at Fred. Olsen Travel.  Also joining the team is Jenny Wright, formally of Holland America, Seadream Yacht Club and most recently Azamara Club Cruises, who will take up the role of Head of Sales UK & Europe; Commercial & Marketing Manager, Augustus Lonsdale, who joins from CLIA UK & Ireland and Georgia Mae Tarrant, Sales & Marketing Executive.  There will be further additions to the team in the coming weeks!
