Google among first speakers announced for Cruise Summit 2024
Google industry manager Amelie Matuschka is among the first speakers announced for the Cruise Summit 2024, presented by Cruise Trade News, which takes place 17 June at the News UK offices, London
Joining Matuschka for the one-day conference will be Georgie Lamden, partnerships manager at News UK; Lisa Minot, head of travel at The Sun; and Laura Jackson, deputy head of travel, The Times & Sunday Times,where they will be revealing what the future of cruise looks like for their readers as part of a morning panel discussion.
Matuschka, who works on Google’s UK travel team to help advertisers identify trends in consumer behaviour and technology adoption, will deliver a keynote on how the evolving tech landscape is impacting holidaymakers’ spending behaviour.
This year’s Cruise Summit, which is now in its third year, will see some 150 travel agents, cruise lines and industry suppliers gather for an immersive exploration into the future of cruise, with a full day of keynotes, panel discussions and breakout sessions providing delegates with never-before-seen data and insightful takeaways.

Andy Harmer, managing director, CLIA UK & Ireland, will provide an in-depth look into the association’s Wave performance data, while Cruise Trade News editor Jack Carter will reveal the findings of the publication’s inaugural reader survey, examining the challenges and opportunities confronting agents and cruise lines in 2024.
