WTM London 2025 is on track to become the largest edition in its 45-year history, driven by surging global demand in travel and the continued expansion of Excel London
Set to take place from 4-6 November, the event will look to build on 2024’s success, which saw an 11 per cent rise in qualified buyers and 34,000+ pre-scheduled meetings taking place. Cruise Trade News has joined the conference as a media partner for 2025.
The 2024 launch of the Capital Hall and Auditorium level at Excel London marked a major capacity boost, welcoming more exhibitors. This year an additional 25,000 m² has been introduced.
To support this expansion, WTM London recently appointed Chris Carter-Chapman as its new event director.
Carter-Chapman has worked in the media and events industries in a variety of sectors over the past 15 years, with several senior roles such as head of content, commercial director and event director.
“I am delighted to be joining RX as the new event director for WTM London at what is an exciting point in its evolution,” he said. “As the world’s most influential travel event, WTM plays a vital role in the lives of travel industry professionals across the globe.”
This year, for the first time, WTM London is introducing a unified theme across all six conference tracks to maintain focus and enhance clarity throughout the event.
While the tracks remain consistent with last year – covering sustainability, technology, DEAI (Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion), marketing, geo-economics, and travel trends – WTM said the unified theme will create a “cohesive experience” for all attendees.
The programme for WTM London has been pulled together by the event’s Conference Advisory Team, which is made up of Uwern Jong, experientialist-in-chief at OutThere; Mark Frary, author, writer and consultant; and Tina Charisma, director and founder of the Charisma Campaign.
