Wave Awards 2022: Discover who could win this year

Wave Awards

The finalist shortlist for the judged categories in the Wave Awards 2022 can now be revealed.

The ‘Oscars of cruising’ – which this year runs in partnership with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines – recognise cruise lines, travel agents, tourist boards and ports from both a trade and consumer perspective.

This year, there were a record number of entries across a range of categories, judged by a panel of cruise and travel experts.

Cruise Trade News editor Gary Peters said: “It’s always a great moment to reveal the finalist shortlist for the Wave Awards.

“This year, we have hit a record number of entries, demonstrating that cruise is truly back to its best following a tough couple of years.

“There is so much innovation taking place across the sector, and rightly the hard work and success of many will be recognised at the awards ceremony. We wish everyone the best of luck.”

The awards, which launched nine years ago, are organised and produced by Real Response Media, which publishes Cruise Trade News and World of Cruising magazines and their websites.

The Wave Awards will be held at the Pan Pacific London hotel on 16 November 2022. To book a table, go to www.thewaveawards.com/book-tickets

The 2022 edition is sponsored by some of the world’s leading cruise lines and travel companies, including the likes of Royal Caribbean International, Seabourn, and Times Travel.
