Viking invites guests to explore Cuba and the Western Caribbean

Viking Sun

Viking Ocean Cruises is inviting guests to explore the diversity of Cuba and the Western Caribbean on its latest eight-day Central American Shores to Cuba itinerary.

This round trip from Miami aboard the Viking Sun visits four countries and five ports.

The first stop is in the Cuban capital, Havana for two days. The voyage carries on to Cozumel, Mexico and Belize City, enjoying snorkelling and Mayan ruins along the way. Inclusive pricing for veranda staterooms start at £2940 per person.

With 15 months still left until departure, the company says this trip is proving an incredibly popular choice, and the cruise line has added two new sailing dates due to high demand. This itinerary is now 50% sold out, with no availability left on its two December sailings in 2017, however cabins are still remaining for the 17thand 24th November 2017 sailings (lead in price £2940). Viking has included a £500 early booking discount (made by 31st December 2016) into the price, which they will now offer on all new itineraries.

Wendy Atkin-Smith, MD at Viking Cruises UK said: “We anticipated such a diverse itinerary would be popular with Viking guests, both existing and new, however selling 50% of the new Central Shores and Cuba itinerary this quickly is testament to how popular the Viking way of cruising really is. Given the current climate it is particularly impressive to have had such a phenomenal response so soon in the booking period – we’re reassured that people still want to spend wisely on outstanding holidays.”
