Emerald Cruises’ new super yacht Emerald Azzurra has floated out of its shipyard in Vietnam, marking just over a year until guests will be able to set sail on its inaugural voyage in January 2022.
The 100-passenger ship will feature 50 deluxe suites and staterooms, 88 per cent of which will include a balcony.
Guests will also be able to make use of a wellness centre, including spa, gym and sauna, three tenders and a zodiac for shore landings, as well as a marina platform.
The first sailing is scheduled to depart on 28 January 2022, for the eight-day Best of the Red Sea itinerary. Prices start from £3,625pp for an oceanview stateroom.

Scenic Group founder and chairman Glen Moroney said: “We are incredibly excited to see Emerald Azzurra successfully enter the water as the next stage of her build, the completion of the interior, commences.
“Once again Emerald Cruises is looking to the future and building a game-changing vessel at a time when small-ship experiences are gaining in popularity.
“We can’t wait for past river cruise guests and new customers alike to join us on board our very own ocean-going yacht in 2022.”
Emerald Cruises currently has a limited time offer with savings of up to 30 per cent on selected cabins and itineraries, plus a complimentary deposit protection plan and the reassurance of a flexible booking policy. The offer is valid on new bookings made before 24 December 2020.
