Uniworld expands ‘no supplement’ solo travel offering for cruise departures in 2017

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has received such an increase in the number of solo guests choosing their own stateroom, the cruise line has expanded its offering by waiving the single supplement on 203 European cruise departures in 2017.

Savings of up to £2,900* can be made by solo travellers taking one of Uniworld’s  all-inclusive river cruises next year.

A further 69 cruise departures across 10 different European itineraries are selling with a reduced Single Supplement offer in 2017.

“Solo travel is a big opportunity for the trade,” said Kathryn Beadle, Managing Director UK. “We are seeing this area of the market exhibit significant growth and we recognise the importance of single supplement waivers in helping agents to harness the value of the solo travel market.”

Some of the most popular European itineraries eligible for No Solo Supplement in 2017 include the eight-day Enchanting Danube which discovers the best of Eastern and Western Europe from Budapest to Passau; Connoisseur Collection departures on the eight-day Bordeaux, Vineyards & Châteaux cruise, and a number of Christmas market itineraries including the eight-day Rhine Holiday Markets. The offer is also available on the  eight-day Paris & Normandy itinerary onboard the new Super Ship, the S.S. Joie de Vivre which sails from March 2017.

Cruising prices in 2017 start from £2,089 per person (saving £1,699 on the waived solo supplement) for the eight-day Castles Along The Rhine itinerary, departing 1 November 2017.
