Travel Counsellors has joined the Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) as a corporate member in a bid to bolster its footing in the expedition cruise sector

The homeworking network is the largest community to join the ECN to date. Through its corporate membership, Travel Counsellors will gain access to the organisation’s Expedition Cruise Academy, alongside exclusive insights, supplier engagement and priority access to events, ship visits and fam opportunities.

Janet Whittingham, head of cruise at Travel Counsellors, said expedition cruising is “one of the most exciting and fast‑evolving” areas of premium travel, and joining the Expedition Cruise Network reflects the company’s commitment to boosting its members’ skill sets.

“We see every booking as personal, and when journeys become more complex, the reassurance of expert, one‑to‑one advice becomes even more valuable,” she added.

“This partnership strengthens our ability to combine specialist knowledge with the deeply personal service our community is known for, helping customers travel with confidence while supporting the continued professional development of our business owners.”

Akvile Marozaite, CEO of the ECN, said: “We are delighted to welcome Travel Counsellors to the Expedition Cruise Network as a corporate member. Their decision to join ECN is a powerful endorsement of the growing importance of expedition cruising within the wider travel industry.

“Travel Counsellors are widely recognised for their commitment to professional development and client-centric selling, and this partnership reflects a shared belief that specialist knowledge, training, and trusted relationships are essential to successfully selling expedition cruising.”
