Star Clippers has released a new four-night Italy and France taster cruise for summer 2023.

The voyage will depart Rome on 29 August, on the 166-guest Star Clipper.

Guests will visit Bonifacio, Calvi and Portoferraio, before disembarking in Rome on 2 September.

Cruise-only prices start from £930pp, while fly/cruise packages start from £1,349pp, including return flights to Rome from London, non-UK transfers and port charges.

Star Clippers UK GSA general manager Fay McCormack said: “Taster cruises are perfect for those with limited time to get away, as well as for those embarking on their first tall-ship adventure before dipping their toes further into the water.

“This beautiful itinerary also provides a great opportunity to extend the stay in Rome either pre or post-cruise, to create a more dynamic package tailored to meet individual preferences.”

In April, the cruise line also increased its regional opportunities with more fly/cruise packages for this summer. 

The line has added fully packaged sailings from London, Manchester, Bristol and Edinburgh airports, with prices starting at £1,789pp.

At the time, McCormack said: “It is important that agents are aware that no matter where in the UK they are based, it is possible for their clients to experience the unique opportunity of sailing on board a fully rigged tall ship.”
