Star Clippers details wave season trade incentive campaign

Star Clippers will reward travel agents for bookings made throughout January 2024 with a range of prizes as part of its wave season campaign.

The four-week-long initiative will put a weekly focus on individual itineraries offered throughout the year, with themed prizes coinciding with the sailings being promoted that week.

During the first week, £150 worth of champagne – or Laithwaites vouchers – to celebrate the launch of the new Captain’s Collection brochure will be on offer, with a £150 spa voucher relating to Star Clippers’ yoga and wellness sailings up for grabs in week two.

In week three, a £150 Eurostar voucher to highlight the line’s Rail & Sail itineraries from Cannes in summer 2024/2025 will be available and a Greek team meal to the value of £150 will round off the campaign in week four.

General manager of Star Clippers’ UK GSA Fay McCormack said: “We wouldn’t be where we are without our dedicated and loyal agent partners.

“We have had our most successful year on record, and owe a lot of that to the trade – this campaign is a token of our appreciation for the committed and unwavering support we receive as we enter 2024.”

All agents that make a booking throughout January will automatically be entered into the draw and winners will be selected at random on a weekly basis and notified via email.

It comes after the tall ship specialist added the Italian town of Otranto, in the Puglia region, as a new port of call for selected sailings in 2025.
