Silversea extends bonus commission incentive for travel agents

Silversea bonus commission for travel agents

Silversea Cruises has extended its £150 bonus commission incentive to ensure it now covers all bookings made by 30 April 2021.

In addition, more voyages are eligible for commission and the incentive is valid on new bookings made on any Silversea cruise departing between 1 October 2021 and 30 June 2022.

Silversea has also extended its early booking bonus to 31 March 2021 – offering savings of up to 20 per cent – as well as its Cruise with Confidence programme to 30 April 2021.

The programme means clients can cancel a cruise (departing before 30 April 2022) up to 30 days prior to departure without penalties when selecting a 100 per cent future cruise credit for the amount paid.

The line’s reduced deposit requirement of 15 per cent, per suite, will now apply to any new booking made on or before 30 April 2021.

Silversea UK & Ireland managing director Peter Shanks said: “We are so grateful for the support of our travel agent partners and these initiatives are designed to give them every ounce of support during these tricky times.

“We are especially pleased with the traction on 2022 sailings for Silversea, early proof that both pent-up demand and the growing interest in smaller ultra-luxury ships will lead to a sustained pathway back to future growth.”

Silversea president and CEO Roberto Martinoli added: “During these unprecedented times, we are proud to continue to support our travel partners with special incentives like our bonus commissions offer.

“We also hope that our valued partners benefit from the flexibility offered to our guests through the extension of our Cruise with Confidence and reduced deposit initiatives. A demonstration of our gratitude for their continued support, these initiatives are our way of recognising our travel partners’ ongoing contributions. We look forward to strengthening our already strong relationships in the coming years.”
