SeaDream Yacht Club has announced that Mark Schmitt has rejoined the cruise line as sales director for UK and Ireland.

Schmitt was previously with the operator between 2015 and 2020, before spells at Tradewind Voyages and then AmaWaterways.

He will succeed Natalie Read, who has decided to take time off to pursue what she describes as a “lifelong dream”.

Schmitt will focus on building and expanding relationships with trade partners, as well as growing new distribution channels, including the charter business in the UK and Ireland markets.

SeaDream Yacht Club executive vice-president Andreas Brynestad said: “This strategic hire represents an exciting step forward in our commitment to further expand our presence in these key markets.

SeaDream also recently appointed Mathew Dadesky as sales director southeast in US, as well as Rune Thomas Ege as SVP of communications.
