SeaDream Yacht Club UK has held the first in a new series of walking events to boost agents’ knowledge of the brand.
The event, hosted by the line’s UK sales director Natalie Read and called ‘Natwalking’, took place on 12 January at Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey.
Read aims to run eight events this year, in an effort to drive sales and increase the number of trade partners she works with.
Read said: “I came up with the idea of ‘Natwalking’ as I know how important it is to escape the stress of the office once in a while and to be able to chat informally and confidentially with industry colleagues.
“I hope that agents find these walks as beneficial as I do.”
A ‘great’ way to learn about SeaDream
Of those who attended, Telina Lawrence, from The Travel Professionals, said: “A wonderful morning of escaping the office and enjoying the great outdoors.
“It was great to hear all about the stunning SeaDream in a relaxing environment. Thank you Natalie – such a lovely treat.”
Penny Brown, from the Godalming Travel Company, added: “It was such a great idea to go for a walk and be able to take the dogs, too.
“It was so relaxing to be out in the fresh air and to just completely switch off for an hour or so.”
