Royal Caribbean’s Torey Kings-Hodkin to join Disney Destinations

Royal Caribbean head of sales Torey Kings-Hodkin is set to join Disney Destinations International (DDI) as its new trade sales and marketing director.

She will take up her new role on 19 February 2024, reporting to the brand’s vice president of sales and marketing for Disneyland Paris UK and Ireland, and the EMEA regions for Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line, Angelica Constantini.

Kings-Hodkin joined Royal Caribbean in February 2020 after spending 27 years at Thomas Cook, where she held roles across the company’s commercial and retail operations.

Via social media, CLIA UK and Ireland managing director Andy Harmer said: “Congratulations [Torey] and thank you for everything you did for CLIA during your time at Royal.”

In response, King-Hodkin said: “It’s been a blast. Thanks for all your support too.”

Kings-Hodkin praised ahead of Disney move

It comes after Royal Caribbean took delivery of Icon of the Seas during a handover ceremony at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland following 900 days of construction.

Last week, the line bolstered its trade sales team with a number of new hires and internal promotions a bid to enhance its agent relationships ahead of the 2024 wave period.
