Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas will join Quantum, Radiance and Serenade of the Seas in summer 2025 for a series of Alaska voyages.
Marking its debut in the state, Anthem will sail a selection of seven-night itineraries visiting a number of Alaska’s glaciers, parks and towns.
All sailings will depart Seattle; Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; or Seward, Alaska, and Crown and Anchor Society loyalty members will have early access to book the new itineraries on Royal Caribbean’s website.
Sailing round-trip from Seattle, Anthem will offer two different week-long itineraries which include locales like Alaska’s Sitka and the Gold Rush-era town of Skagway.

Meanwhile, Quantum, also sailing round-trip from Seattle, will take guests to Sitka, Skagway, Endicott Arm fjord, Dawes Glacier and Juneau, as well as Icy Strait Point and Victoria in Canada.
Out of Vancouver, Serenade will return to Alaska calling at destinations such as Haines, Sitka, Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan while Radiance, which will also offer departures from Seward, will sail a lineup of alternating northbound and southbound voyages to Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point and Hubbard Glacier.
It comes after Royal revealed the name of its second Icon class vessel, which is due to launch in summer 2025. Star of the Seas will follow the launch of the line’s first Icon class ship, Icon of the Seas, which is set to come into operation later this year.
On Wednesday (1 November), the line helped ABTA LifeLine raise £34,000 with a donation of more than £10,000.
