Riviera Travel reveals ‘industry-first’ trade reward platform
Riviera Travel has claimed an industry first with a new rewards platform which gives agents instant access to a range of prizes the moment they make a booking
Agents can access The Riviera Vault via the river cruise and escorted touring operator’s trade training platform, Riviera Explorer.
From 7 July to 10 August 2025, agents who book any Riviera Travel product and are registered on Riviera Explorer can unlock The Vault to reveal instant prizes, including lifestyle vouchers that can be used for Costa Coffee, Greggs, and Marks & Spencer.
Or, they can opt for LED facial masks, gourmet hampers from Fortnum & Mason, teeth whitening treatments and the chance to win a sailing for two aboard Resplendence.
“This is a first for the river cruise and touring sector, and it’s going to set us apart,” said Vicky Billing, director of trade and partnerships. “Innovation through technology is vital to our success.
“Everything we do is designed with the trade in mind, to make working with us seamless, rewarding, and exciting. We want to engage, delight, and reward our brilliant trade partners, but above all, we want to make it easy, because we know just how precious their time is.”
The line recently rolled out a selection of new training modules for travel agents on Riviera Explorer centred around group bookings, solo holidays and tours.
The new modules include a “Why Riviera” section and video to help agents share the company’s values with customers, as well as a solo holidays section tailored to the fast-growing market segment.
Last week the company appointed Cheryl Elliot-Edwards as key account manager for the south and south east.
