Riviera Travel has confirmed it is re-opening its European river cruise and select touring product to the Irish market with immediate effect.
The brand’s 2024 and recently-launched 2025 river cruise programmes are now on sale to Irish holidaymakers, covering Europe’s main waterways including the Seine, Rhone, Rhine, Douro and Danube.
Dedicated departures for solo travellers are also available, along with newly-introduced themed cruises for 2025. Seven European itineraries from Riviera’s touring portfolio are also on sale, with plans to expand the programme over the next 12 months.
The programmes, available in Euros, will be bookable through a dedicated ie domain website and its trade booking platform Riviera Agents. The market will be managed by Riviera’s head of partnerships Vicky Billing with the support of a dedicated trade team.
Riviera Travel hails Irish agents’ support
Riviera Travel channel director Stuart Milan said: “We’re eager to welcome Irish guests back onboard our European river cruises and tours, and want to thank local agents for all their support as we return to the market. Our extensive range of product will ensure guests effortlessly experience some of Europe’s most incredible destinations.”
He added: “On the river, our all-inclusive dining, superior drinks package and outstanding service from wonderful crew members, combined with local guides bringing the destinations to life, will offer the perfect holiday on and off our ships. Meanwhile our hand-crafted touring itineraries offer the perfect balance of expert guided insight and independent adventure.”
It comes after Billing reflected on the operator’s success at the Wave Awards 2023, which took place on 13 November.
