Measures introduced in response to low water conditions and new product launches for 2028 were on the agenda at Riviera Travel's most recent bi-annual meeting

Seventeen attendees from agencies and consortia such as Advantage Travel Partnership, Designer Travel, Fred Olsen Travel, Hays Travel and Travel Counsellors met for their seventh Agent Committee Meeting on 1 October.

The roundtable forum, which has been designed to give members a direct and confidential channel to share market feedback and suggest new ideas, aims to help Riviera enhance its trade offering across its river cruise and touring product.

Key topics discussed in the latest meeting included measures introduced in response to this summer's low water levels across Europe, the launch of Riviera's new trade loyalty programme, Riv Rewards, new product launches for 2028 and a preview of the operator's 2027 Wave campaign.

Vicky Billing, director of trade, partnerships and loyalty UK and Ireland, said: "Our Agent Committee gives us honest, practical feedback from the people selling Riviera every day.

"The strong growth we are seeing through the trade underlines the value of those partnerships, but the meeting is equally important in showing us where we can do more.

"We are always listening, learning and acting, from strengthening our river cruise communications to developing our digital tools and future product. We will continue working closely with agents to make Riviera easier to sell and to support their growth."
