Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced it has created the new position of trade marketing manager, international, to be filled by Sam Deadman.
The line has also made a number of promotions in its Southampton office.
Deadman, who previously worked for the line from 2011-2016, is now responsible for all activities relating to travel trade engagement.
“I am delighted to be back in the cruise industry. It’s a very special sector of travel and has some of the most talented travel professionals,” said Deadman.
“We have some big plans to increase engagement with the travel trade with the aim of increasing Regent’s brand awareness and the number of luxury partners we work with.”
In addition, Paul Beale has been promoted from head of sales UK to senior director of sales UK and Ed Lang has been promoted to senior tour operators and groups manager. The final change sees Caroline Smith become senior director, international marketing.
According to Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ managing director Graham Sadler, the changes will help the line better explain to agents “the benefits of working with Regent, not least because we offer some of the highest commission margins in the cruise industry”.
Regent’s newest ship, the 750-guest Seven Seas Splendor, launches in February next year.
