Regent Seven Seas Cruises has created a new travel agent webinar series, launching later in October.
Hosted by the line’s vice-president of marketing, Caroline Smith, and senior director of sales UK, Paul Beale, the three-part series aims to give agents “the skills to earn some of the highest commissions in the industry”, the line said in a statement.
Each 20-minute webinar – Where to Find Regent Guests, Segmentation Insights and Data-Driven Marketing Tactics – will focus on actionable tools, tactics and tips, “backed by a robust customer segmentation study”.
The research, which mapped psychographic and behavioural factors of luxury cruise guests and prospects through quantitative and qualitative data points, will be exclusive to Regent agent partners via the webinars.
Agents who attend all three webinars and take a post-series survey will have the opportunity to win a cruise on Seven Seas Explorer, with a guest, to Alaska in 2023.
Regent ‘committed’ to agent partners
Smith said: “At Regent Seven Seas Cruises we are committed to supporting our valued travel partners, and want to continue growing our business together.
“Our research shows that, with demand for luxury cruising such as it is, there is an incredible opportunity for the UK travel trade to earn more today.”
Attendees will also gain access to post-webinar tutorials hosted by Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ in-house marketing team, providing additional support on how to maximise marketing efforts.
Beale added: “As we look towards 2023 and beyond, these webinars are just the start of what will be a full programme of investment and support for our valued travel partners.
“For those travel partners who attend the series, a host of exclusive resources and materials will be unlocked, teaching them how to capitalise on the recent valuable and fascinating findings from our customer segmentation study.
“These new resources will be an invaluable asset to their luxury cruise business.”
In early September, Regent again broke its single day booking record with the sales launch of its 2024/2025 voyage collection.
