Princess Cruises has announced some changes to its 2021 UK and Europe summer itineraries, among those being the deployment of Enchanted Princess in Europe.
The cruise line announced it’s 2021 programme will not see three Royal-class ships based in Europe, including the cruise line’s upcoming addition to its fleet – Enchanted Princess.
Enchanted Princess will sail a series of voyages in the Mediterranean, with sailings also in Northern Europe and the British Isles. The ship will also sail in Canada and New England.
Enchanted Princess is due to join the Princess fleet later this year, the latest addition to the fleet following the launch of Sky Princess in 2019.
The brand new ship will debut in May 2021 and operate sailings round-trip Rome until September. These will include a brand new seven- and 14-night sailing calling at destinations like Corfu, Kotor, Marseille and Naples.
Enchanted Princess will then make her way from Rome to Barcelona, where she will sail a series of 11-night Grand Mediterranean voyages.
Sky Princess will also spend time in Europe, being based in the UK from April to September 2021 sailing round-trip from Southampton. The ship will sail eight- and 12-night British Isles cruises, as well as a 12-night Scandinavia and Russia voyage.
Regal Princess will join Sky Princess in Southampton, sailing round-trip to a variety of destinations including Iceland and Norway, the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, the Baltic and Canada and New England – with voyages ranging in length from four to 24 nights.
Passengers who book any of these voyages between 22 September and 23 November 2020 will get a free upgrade to a balcony from an inside stateroom.
Vice president of Princess Cruises UK and Europe, Tony Roberts, said: “Having three Royal-class ships sailing in Europe next year including two based in Southampton is testament to our commitment to offering UK holidaymakers an enhanced Medallion Class service, new onboard experiences and a wealth of holiday options without the need to travel too far from home.
“We truly are so excited for every guest to experience these voyages. The addition of the new itineraries gives UK guests the opportunity to visit more destinations from Southampton than ever before, as well as the ease of travelling roundtrip from Rome for those who prefer to take a short flight straight out to the sunshine.
“With the free balcony upgrade now available and so many itineraries to choose from, there really is no better time to book”.
