Princess Cruises is giving 30 travel agents the opportunity to experience one of its destination-rich holidays through the lens of a customer with a new trade initiative programme
Since December, Princess Cruises has been encouraging agents to step into the shoes of their customers through its “Our Ships, Your Story” campaign.
It’s part of a new scheme from the line designed to get agents onboard to experience a Princess Cruises adventure through the eyes of a consumer, from onboard dining and entertainment to destination-led shore excursions.
This month, the story continues with an irresistible new incentive that rewards bookings and inspires more sales. A select group of agents will be whisked away to a yet-to-be-announced Mediterranean location for two nights as part of the line’s ‘VIP Destination Experience’ initiative.
The programme promises a blend of iconic sightseeing, off-the-beaten-track discoveries, and curated moments that only Princess can deliver, as well as the chance to experience what it is like to holiday onboard one of Princess’ innovative vessels.
The trip will take place this summer and all agents have to do to be in with the chance of winning is make a booking for Princess Cruise and fill out the online form. The closing date for entries is 31 January and there are 30 spaces up for grabs. The location will be announced in due course.
Singing in the summer sun
Experiences will be split between the ship and destination. Whilst onboard, think dining in some of Princess’ best loved venues like Crown Grill, where you can tuck into a duet of Prime Beef and Wagyu with cracked pepper and a red wine reduction, followed by a decadent chocolate lava cake topped with fresh berries and raspberry cream.
Or, head to Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria for home-style dishes originating from a Mediterranean culinary powerhouse. Start with Insalata Mista – mixed greens, charred pear, radish, arugula with orange segments and shaved fennel laced with an olive oil and balsamic dressing – before savouring seafood linguine with shrimp and clams for main. If you have room, the Tiramisu is a must.
The immersion doesn’t end there. The winning agents will also have the chance to delve into the mystery Mediterranean destination thanks to Princess Cruises’ exclusive range of Destination Experiences. You might enjoy a spot of wine tasting as the Italian sun dips beneath the horizon while you ponder which pizza to enjoy that evening, or you might have the chance to explore the dramatic coastlines of southern France.
