Princess Cruises has extended the opening hours of its agent webchat function.
The Ask Isaac webchat, available at onesourcecruises.com, will now be open from 9am-5pm from Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.
Named after the bartender in The Love Boat TV series, the tool has been used by agents for more than five years and now accounts for a quarter of UK agent enquiries, an increase of more than 50 per cent year-on-year.
Princess Cruises vice-president UK & Europe Tony Roberts said: “Princess Cruises is dedicated to supporting the trade and it has never been more important to be able to provide immediate support and information to our travel agents partners.
“Extending Ask Isaac’s hours means we are able to allocate even more resource, time and support to the growing number of agents who are benefitting from the live webchat service.”
Princess recently extended its pause in operations to May, including sailings in the Caribbean, the California coast and early season Alaska and Europe cruises.
Despite the extension, Princess has also unveiled a number of offers and itineraries in recent months, including a new sale campaign. Named ‘Dream with Us’, the campaign runs through to 1 March 2021. Reduced fares apply to more than 950 cruises across 2021 and 2022.
In addition, the entire fleet will feature Ocean Medallion technology when the line returns to service.
