P&O targets new-to-cruise market with pop-up initiative

P&O Cruises will pilot two new experiential pop-up stands at Bluewater and Westfield shopping centres during its peak booking season from January to March 2024

The stands, which will look to target new-to-cruise customers, will feature a digital wall showcasing destinations around the world, sharing a glimpse of what guests can experience on a P&O Cruises holiday. There’ll also be a sensory lounge where visitors can learn more information and enter a competition to win a P&O Cruises holiday to the Caribbean.

The pop-up stands will be in Bluewater Shopping Centre’s Moon Court in Dartford from January 27 to February 9, 2024 and in Westfield Shopping Centre’s North Atrium in Shepherd’s Bush from February 19 to March 3, 2024.

Driving awareness among new-to-cruise guests

Paul Ludlow, president of Carnival UK & P&O Cruises, said: “Our new marketing strategy, Holiday Like Never Before, aims to drive awareness and consideration with guests who may have thought that cruising wasn’t for them.

“Our pop-up stands in two of the UK’s busiest retail destinations during the peak holiday booking period will support agents by helping potential guests to understand the exceptional value and varied experiences offered by a P&O Cruises holiday.”
