One of the most innovative in Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) fleet with state-of-the-art facilities, Norwegian Joy is perfect for clients looking for a modern cruise experience.

Following in the footsteps of her successful sister ships, Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy has set sail on the first of two exclusive inaugural preview cruises before her first official sailing out of Seattle to Alaska.

Norwegian Joy is the 15th ship in NCL’s modern fleet of 16 ships, and the second in the Breakaway-Plus Class, which is the most successful class in the cruise line’s history. The cutting-edge ship boasts many industry firsts, including an onboard go-kart track, open-air laser tag arena and Galaxy Pavilion, a virtual reality and gaming venue, making her the perfect sell for clients looking for a contemporary cruise with all the bells and whistles, and for families wanting plenty of onboard entertainment.

She is the only ship in the fleet to offer the Concierge-level stateroom category, which features spacious suites with 24/7 concierge service and private dining, so clients looking for something more exclusive and one-to-one service will be well-catered for.

Commenting on the ship, NCL president and CEO Andy Stuart says: “We are so happy to bring Norwegian Joy to North America to sail alongside her sister ship, Norwegian Bliss. These preview cruises will allow us to properly showcase this innovative ship to members of the media as well as our travel partners, who will experience firsthand how incredible she is.”

Norwegian Joy will offer seven-day Alaska cruises from Seattle with calls to Ketchikan, Juneau, Icy Strait Point and Skagway, Alaska, and Victoria, B.C. Beginning in autumn, she will sail to the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles, Calif, as well as the Panama Canal from Los Angeles and Miami. She will then cruise to the Caribbean from Miami beginning in 2020.
