MSC Yacht Club to debut on Poesia ahead of Alaska season

MSC Poesia

MSC Cruises has announced plans to revamp MSC Poesia with the addition of its luxury all-inclusive cruising concept, the MSC Yacht Club

The refurbishment will also introduce the Butcher’s Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar speciality restaurants, All-Stars Sports Bar, a refreshed MSC Aurea Spa and enhanced MSC Gym.

Guests booking the newly added MSC Yacht Club will experience 24-hour butler and concierge service, spacious suites and access to private facilities, including a dedicated restaurant, lounge, private sundeck with whirlpools, and grill restaurant and bar.

The luxury area will offer 63 suites across five suite types, including ocean-view balcony suites and connected options. The Royal Suite accommodates up to six guests and features a private whirlpool, a 78 sqm terrace as well as a private outdoor shower.

Antonio Paradiso, VP of international sales at MSC Cruises, said: “For our travel agent partners, the MSC Yacht Club delivers even greater earning potential with its exceptional value, new suite categories including Family, Grand and Royal Suites, and the opportunity to attract both loyal and first-time guests.

“The addition of venues such as a reimagined Kaito Sushi Bar and the new Butcher’s Cut further enhances the onboard experience, while giving agents additional opportunities to boost earnings through prepaid dining packages.”

The new additions will debut on the line’s inaugural season in Alaska aboard Poesia, which will sail itineraries calling in Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm, as well as Juneau and Victoria.

The ship will sail seven-night sailings from Seattle, May through September 2026, and in winter 2026/2027 will begin a Caribbean and Central America season, roundtrip from Miami to Jamaica, Colombia, Costa Rica, Aruba, Curaçao, and Belize.

It comes as MSC prepares for the introduction of two new World Class ships, set to be delivered in 2029 and 2030. The order will see the line grow its fleet of World Class ships to six, joining MSC World Europa and MSC World America along with MSC World Asia and MSC World Atlantic.
