The River Cruise Line has added three departure dates to next year’s new eight-day Captain’s Choice cruise through Holland.

The company said it has been overwhelmed by demand for the cruise, which is on the Lady Anne and visits Captain Wido Arts’ favourite places in the Netherlands.

It was devised to celebrate his 15 years at the helm of the 106-passenger vessel.

The new itinerary, sailing between Nijmegen and Rotterdam, visits less well-known spots in his home country including Arcen, Grave, Heusden and Dordrecht.
A total five departures are now on offer in June and July 2016.
