Michelle Daniels has left A-Rosa River Cruises after her role as UK sales director was made redundant following a company-wide restructure
Daniels, who joined the line in April in place of outgoing sales boss Stephen Joyner, was responsible for taking the lead on the river cruise line’s UK sales strategy.
Regional sales manager, Emma Rodgers, will now report directly to A-Rosa River Cruises’ UK managing director, Lucia Rowe.
“Against our expectations, 2024 has been more of a challenging year so far and based on this we were required to realign the structure of the business in the UK,” said Rowe.
“We are incredibly sorry to lose Michelle who from her very first day with us helped develop our FIT sales strategy and found new channels of growth for this area of our business.
Rowe praises Daniels following A-Rosa restructure
She continued: “She is such a high-achieving professional and her work ethic, superb knowledge and network in the cruising industry would have undoubtably helped us with our ambitions for the UK market.”
Daniels, who spent two and a half years with Light Blue representing the company’s American Queen Voyages and Nicko Cruises brands in the UK, has also held roles with Tripsmiths, Voyages to Antiquity and Cruise and Maritime Voyages.
