Kids go free with European Waterways

European Waterways, cruise, cruising, cruises,

European Waterways is offering a new “kids go free” special on selected hotel barge cruises in France and Scotland this summer.  The company is also offering a wider range of family-friendly excursions and meal options.

On the eight-passenger L’Art de Vivre in Burgundy and Anjodi on the Canal du Midi, two children can go free on each barge.  On the 12-passenger La Belle Epoque in Burgundy and 12-passenger Spirit of Scotland – the company’s newest luxury vessel, cruising the Caledonian Canal in Scotland – up to three children can go free. Children must be under 18 and the whole boat charters must be booked by May 30, 2017 to qualify.

The offer equates to a 25% saving and whole boat charters of L’Art de Vivre are now £15,900, down from £21,200; eligible departure dates are July 23, August 13 and August 20. Similar savings are available on Anjodi for its August 13 departure. Whole boat charter prices for Spirit of Scotland are £23,250, reduced from £31,000  for its August 13 and 20 departures. Again, similar charter savings are available for La Belle Epoque for its August 13 departure.

Among European Waterways’ programme of family-friendly activities, theme park admissions, prehistoric cave exploration and go-karting are all included in the fares.  Onboard menus for all the family, from informal BBQs to gourmet meals, are prepared by the onboard chef.  Guests can also book other activities such as hot-air ballooning and horse riding directly with local providers when they are onboard at an additional charge.

The company offers 10% commission, which applies on travel agent bookings. Visit gobarging.com
