JTA Travel Group has appointed Mark Schmitt as its new head of cruise as it looks to strengthen its position within the cruise sector

Schmitt joins the firm with a career spanning more than 20 years in the travel industry, having held senior roles at several leading cruise lines and travel brands.

In the newly created role, Schmitt will oversee all aspects of JTA’s cruise business, working closely with cruise and travel agent partners to further expand the company’s portfolio and drive continued growth.
