Cruise Trade News joined a glittering array of guests at the naming ceremony for MSC Cruises’ newest ship, MSC Bellissima, in Southampton.

Not even the inclement British weather could dampen spirits, as guests were joined by an array of celebrities, including Holly Willoughby and the ship’s godmother, Sophia Loren, to celebrate.

The 5,686-guest ship – the biggest ever launched in the UK – is the first to feature the cruise line’s new voice-activated speaking assistant, Zoe (similar to Amazon’s Alexa).
