The Expedition Cruise Network has launched a new training platform for travel trade professionals looking to deepen their knowledge of the expedition cruise industry
The Expedition Cruise Academy, which launched on 2 April 2025, offers two forms of membership: free and premium, and will complement the current series of webinars, face-to-face events and insight guides.
Free training will offer access to courses on ECN’s cruise members, providing an overview of the expedition cruise operator, details of its fleet – complete with downloadable fleet sheets – key destinations, unique selling points, and available trade resources.
In addition to supplier courses, premium members will benefit from content that explores the wider expedition cruise industry in greater depth – covering topics such as destination training, expedition cruising jargon and how it compares to other forms of travel, and guidance on matching the right ship and operator to the right client.
Akvile Marozaite, CEO and co-founder of the Expedition Cruise Network, said: “We are incredibly excited to launch The Expedition Cruise Academy, our brand-new platform showcasing the most dynamic tourism industry.
“We are committed to being the number one provider for agents looking to grow their knowledge in this ever-changing industry. Our monthly webinars and website resources have already helped hundreds of travel advisors to deepen their expertise in selling expedition cruising and we are delighted that we can evolve our training products to appeal to an even wider audience.”
Earlier this year, ECN announced the Expedition Cruise Network Conference 2025, to be held at Glaziers Hall on 30 September & 1 October 2025.
