Expedition Cruise Network launches first-ever awards ceremony

Expedition Cruise Network Awards

The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) has launched its first-ever awards ceremony for the expedition cruise industry

The event will recognise the best expedition cruise lines and sellers across the sector with seven categories for expedition cruise lines, five categories for travel trade and two special recognition awards.

The operator category includes the awards for the best expedition cruise operator for the polar destinations, warm weather destinations, luxury and sustainability, as well as the best large, medium and small operators.

The trade categories, meanwhile, include the best expedition cruise travel agency, the best expedition cruise tour operator, the best individual expedition cruise seller/travel advisor, the best newcomer to expedition cruise and the best individual newcomer to expedition cruise.

Industry professionals can nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else. The trade categories will be judged by a panel made up of expedition cruise lines that are part of the ECN.

Submissions for the inaugural Expedition Cruise Awards are now open for both expedition cruise operators and travel trade members with the submission process closing at 5pm on Thursday 5 September.

Akvile Marozaite, ECN co-founder and CEO, said: “At the Expedition Cruise Network, we are in the privileged position to see first-hand the fantastic work being done across the expedition cruise industry.”
