Oceania Cruises is set to host more than 2,000 agents across its 2024 ship visit programme

For the first time, the line has offered its trade partners the chance to bring consumers to the visits, where they will take part in a guided tour, enjoy welcome drinks and sample a four-course lunch.

The line will host 30 events in 15 different ports on board Sirena, Nautica and Marina, which will be fresh out of its dry dock in May with reimagined Penthouse suites, two new culinary venues and refreshed public areas.

The ports include Aberdeen, Belfast, Cork, Dover, Dublin, Falmouth, Greenock, Invergordon, Leith, Liverpool, Portland, Portsmouth, Rosyth, Southampton and Tilbury.

Oceania adds 100 agent partners in 2024

Speaking to Cruise Trade News, vice president of international sales Jason Worth said the line has signed up 100 new UK travel agents during the first quarter of 2024, which comes as part of the brand’s strategy to grow its standing amongst the UK trade having expanded its sales team with the appointments of Sam Richardson and Kim Gough last year.

“We are delighted to have such a strong ship visit programme for our agents in the UK and Ireland this year,” he said. “There’s no better way for them, and their consumers, to get a real feel for the Oceania Cruises’ experience than by being onboard.”

He continued: “Our strategy is to grow our agent community in the UK in 2024 and we have already signed up more than 100 new travel partners in the first quarter. Being able to get as many agents as possible onboard for a tour and lunch this year is a great way to kick off these new relationships.”
