Exclusive: Cunard’s Queen Anne incentive inspires 5,626 agent bookings

Cunard Queen Anne

A recent Cunard incentive centred around new ship Queen Anne has inspired hundreds of agents to make a staggering 5,626 bookings for the vessel

The competition, which attracted 856 individual entries, gave agents the opportunity to win a place on Queen Anne’s operational overnight test in Southampton on 29 April.

To be in with a chance of winning, agents had to register their interest on the line’s reward platform – Shine Rewards Club – with all subsequent bookings counted as an entry.

Of the total number of Cunard Fare bookings made within the competition window, which closed on 10 March, more than 90 per cent were entered into the draw, marking the best uptake the line has ever experienced for an agent competition.

Excitement for Queen Anne ‘growing by the day’, says Cunard sales VP

Angus Struthers, vice president of global marketing and EMEA sales at Cunard, said: “The excitement for the much-anticipated arrival of Queen Anne is growing by the day and the phenomenal engagement with the competition proved that our valued agent partners are feeling the same way.

“With just over six weeks to go, we can’t wait to welcome the winners on board. They can experience everything you’d expect from Cunard, from our signature venues and an enhanced wellness offering, to exciting new spaces such as the Bright Lights Society.”

Chosen at random, the 135 winners were informed via Cunard’s trade team on 15 March.

It comes after the luxury cruise line revealed a range of new voyages sailing from September 2025 to January 2027 across its fleet of four ships.
