European Waterways is offering 10 per cent off for multi-generational and small group travellers on whole boat charter prices on several 2019 departures, when booked before 14 September 2018.
Applicable itineraries include the 24 and 31 March 2019 departures of the 12-passenger Panache as it cruises Holland. Prices for full barge charters start at £40,410, representing a saving of almost £4,090.
In addition, there is also 10 per cent off whole boat charter prices on select departures in the Alsace and Lorraine region, which the Panache cruises later in the season. Prices for 25 August and 21 October 2019 departures also start at £40,410.
The 8-passenger Rosa hotel barge, which cruises the Gascony and Bordeaux regions of Southern France, has whole boat charter prices at £20,430 – a saving of almost £2,270 – for departures on 14, 21 and 28 April, as well as 5 and 12 May 2019.
Meanwhile, European Waterways’ largest vessel, the 20-passenger La Bella Vita, cruises the Venetian Lagoon, River Po and Canal Bianco between Venice and the city of Mantua.
Itinerary highlights include a tour of Venice, a visit to Chioggia’s fish market, and dinner at the 17th century villa of Ca’Zen. Prices start at £45,810, a saving of £5,090. Eligible departures include 24 and 21 March, 7, 14, 21 and 28 April, and 5 and 12 May 2019.
“Co-ordinating everyone’s holiday is probably one of the biggest challenges to families and groups,” said Derek Banks, managing director of European Waterways.
“Advanced booking provides guests with greater flexibility on departure dates and in designing the itinerary. We can tailor their excursions to include more activities that better reflect the interests and passions of their party. For example, we can organise more family-friendly outings, or culinary explorations, extra tee times for golfers, or walking and cycling tours for the active travellers.”
