About Valletta
If awesome views are the order of the day, then visitors should head on to Valletta, Malta’s small yet impressive capital city.
As ships arrive guests are greeted by the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a 16th-century church, yet this is just one, albeit striking, sample of what Valletta has to offer.
More can be found at the Grandmaster’s Palace in the centre of the city, built by the Knights of St John, and the Upper Barrakka Gardens, which encircle part of the city's old fortifications.
