The luxury cruise line has announced the launch of a new dance and classical-themed cruise down the Danube with the former ballerina and Strictly Come Dancing judge.
The eight-day Dance Down the Danube river cruise with Darcey Bussell departs next year on 8 April 2020 with prices starting from just £2,195pp, including a £1,000 per couple discount.
As a special incentive, guests will receive an additional £125 per person discount if paid in full by 31 December 2019.
The itinerary commences in the Bavarian city of Nuremburg and will take guests through Regensburg, Linz and Passau. Guests will either be given the chance to visit the medieval Czech city of Český Krumlov or visit Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, before sailing onto Vienna.
Once in Vienna, Bussell will join Scenic guests at the Palace Liechtenstein, where she will host them at a private evening concert featuring the music of Strauss, Mozart and Beethoven, and performances of classical ballet and Viennese waltz.
Bussell will then accompany passengers down the river to Budapest, where guests will explore the city or journey to nearby Szentendre, known for its museums and galleries.
In Budapest, guests will enjoy an exclusive on-board event with Bussell and partake in a conversation reflecting on her life and career, following by cocktails on the sun deck during an evening cruise through the Hungarian capital.
Other highlights of the itinerary include a visit to Melk’s 18th-century Benedictine abbey and a gourmet tour of the Wachau Valley.
Scenic’s cruise will include all flights, transfers, a personal on-board butler, gratuities, exceptional wining and dining experiences and all excursions. On-board facilities include the wellness area, all-weather vitality pool and various dining options.
