Cruise.co.uk recognises top cruise lines in annual awards

Cruise.co.uk has honoured suppliers from across the cruise industry at its annual awards conference.

The event was held during the specialist cruise agency’s 18th annual conference in Obertauern, Austria.

More than 30 senior cruise industry attendees celebrated 12 cruise-specific award categories.

Hosted by the company’s CEO Chris Gardner and deputy managing director Tony Andrews, the awards recognise achievements nominated by Cruise.co.uk internal teams, alongside various categories voted for by their customers.

P&O Cruises won four awards, including UK’s Most Popular Cruise Line, while Royal Caribbean, MSC Cruises, Regent Seven Seas, Celebrity Cruises and Avalon Waterways were also winners.

A new Special Recognition Award was presented to Jo Rzymowska, to mark her contribution to Celebrity Cruises and the cruise sector.

Cruise.co.uk recognising partnerships and success

Gardner said: “Our relationships with the cruise lines, and how we work with them, is imperative to the success of our business. The awards allow us to celebrate our successes together.

“It’s equally as important for us to acknowledge what our customers think and to share that insight with the cruise lines.”

Andrews said: “The team at Cruise.co work incredibly closely with the cruise line suppliers, ensuring we’re offering our mutual customers the best service, offer and product available.

“Our annual conference gives us the opportunity to get everyone together and recognise those partnerships.”

P&O Cruises vice-president of sales and marketing Rob Scott added: “I’m incredibly proud of the team for winning these awards.

“To be recognised by Cruise.co.uk and their guests is a real honour and a reflection of the strength of our product and investment in the partnership with their team.”
